Our Experience in Marine Conservation

It has been more than seven years since its launch in 2017, and the Blue Abadi Fund (BAF) – Indonesia’s first dedicated marine conservation trust fund – has supported local organizations, achieving significant results across the Bird’s Head Seascape.

Enhancing the effectiveness of conservation area management, reducing destructive fishing practices, increasing fish biomass, and maintaining coral reef health. These efforts contribute to the socio-economic well-being of local communities.

Efforts in Marine Ecosystem Conservation

BAF is committed to protecting marine biodiversity, restoring coral reefs, and empowering local communities for a sustainable future.
